Why did you want to become a kids' doctor instead of a doctor for grown-ups?
Working with children is more fun! I love the quirky, unpredictable things children say and it’s an honour to help them feel better. Plus, as a child-sized adult with a healthy enjoyment of bright colours, stickers and silly jokes, I feel right at home.
What is your favourite dinosaur?
Styracosaurus. I love their head spikes, frills and horn - I feel like they’d be a fashion icon in the right era. And styracosaurus was a plant-eating, herd animal so I feel like it’d be easier to befriend them than some of their dinosaur peers.
What do you do when you’re not being a doctor?
I love spending time in nature - swimming, hiking or relaxing with a good book. Always keen for a coffee with people I love or a new craft project to get creative.
If you could pick any superpower what would it be?
Teleportation. I love travelling and discovering new places, perspectives and pockets of nature - imagine the adventures in tricky to get to locations! Or the ease of popping to Italy for some gelato.
