How do I make an appointment for my child?

Once we receive your referral directly from your referring doctor, the reception team will call you to arrange an appointment for your child. If you have any questions please feel free to call our reception team for assistance.

What do I need to bring to the appointment?

To ensure you make the most of your visit, please consider the following ‘appointment essentials’:

  • A valid Referral letter from your GP (required for Medicare claim)

  • A list of key reasons for your visit

  • A list of any medications your child is currently taking, including alternative medications (with dosage and frequency)

  • Your child's health record booklet (blue book)

  • Any relevant medical results, investigations, or discharge summaries

  • Any photos or videos that may help explain the concerns about your child

  • For school-aged children, please bring a copy of their school reports, educational assessments, or a letter from their teacher if relevant

  • Any previous health or behavioural assessments

We recommend emailing these reports to us before the appointment, so that your Paediatrician can have access to them before the appointment.

What to expect at the Appointment

During your visit:

Initial appointments typically last 60 minutes, while follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes. Please note that we have a Cancellation Policy in place: if you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment or fail to attend your appointment, you will be charged a 100% fee.

Be sure to jot down anything important or that you may forget. If you don't understand anything the Paediatrician says, don’t hesitate to ask questions.

After your visit:

Your Paediatrician will send a letter to your GP or referring doctor detailing the recommended plan for managing your child's care. Please feel free to call our reception team for assistance.

Cancellation Policy

A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking your appointment. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment or fail to attend, you will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.

Fees & Payments

We require full payment on the day of appointment. A valid referral is required for the medicare rebate to be processed. Once the full payment has been made, Medicare will then issue the rebate, typically deposited into your nominated bank account within 1-2 business days. Please note, Medicare does not permit us to charge only the gap fee. Every family can expect to be out of pocket after the medicare rebate.

EFTPOS, Mastercard and Visa are all accepted.
