Why did you want to become a kids' doctor instead of a doctor for grown-ups?

Because it’s a privilege to support kids in growing and thriving. They also teach me new ideas - I think that I learn something from kids every day!

What is your favourite dinosaur?

Yutyrannus. I love the idea of a fluffy feathered tyrannosaur; I’d like to have one as a pet.

What do you do when you’re not being a doctor?

Orienteering (which takes me all over the country), drawing, reading, and spending time with my family, dog, and pet chooks.

If you could pick any superpower what would it be?

I’d like to be able to turn into a dragon, because then I could fly and breathe fire.
